She’s no air head!!
Okay, so it was Daisy’s 1st Christmas she was about 4 months old and I decided to take her to my dad’s which is 3 hrs away from where I live. The car ride was fine this wasn’t her first long trip so I wasn’t worried about it. We arrive there fine and on time.
My step-mom has a Shih Tzu named Teddy who is like King of the caslte and here comes Daisy this total air head waltzing into his home like its her own home. Well after a few little tantrums from Teddy, it was decided that it would be better if Teddy and Daisy were seperated because Teddy was showing signs that he was not tolerating Daisy and all she wanted to do was play with him (because he was all that was left after she ate all his raw hide bones.)
Well we put baby gates up to block the doorways leading to the family room and the dining room (his house makes a circle) Daisy stayed with the family and me poor Teddy sat on the other side of the gate giving us this really sad look like “Why do I have to be on this side, this is my house?” I guess the gates wouldn’t sit in the door way right so we leaned them against the door way and placed a chair to hold them up against the wall. This didn’t seem like the dogs would be smart enough to try anything Teddy just sat there pouting and Daisy played with everyone else who was in the room.
I was talking to my dad when Daisy decided to show what she’s been hiding, a sign of intelligence, I just happened to look out the corner of my eye when I saw Daisy by the door way it seemed to me she was just looking at Teddy and that was it. Well I looked again a couple seconds later and she was pulling the chair away from the door way by the cushion tied to the chair! She was gradually moving the chair so it wouldn’t make a sound and I wouldn’t notice what she was doing till it was to late. When I caught her I just simply looked at her and calmly sad her name she just froze and her eyes looked up at me. I went to put teh gate back before it could fall but Daisy yanked it and the gate fell and my dad and I had to seperate the beasts. I guess she isn’t as air headed as I thought.
